Mr. Andrew MUHIRE is the current M&E, HMIS specialist in Rwanda’s Ministry of Health with 10 years’ experience in management of HMIS. He has worked as Head of Health Management Information System for the Ministry of Health since 2013 and also as HMIS technical specialist since 2010 and he became the Head of M&E and HMIS since October 2014. Mr. Andrew MUHIRE served as a member of the task force that supported the Ministry of Health to Customize the first web-based system(DHIS2) in 2012. At MOH, He coordinated integration of different vertical systems into DHIS2. He coordinated the customization and rollout of covid19 e-system in Rwanda

As a Member of HISP Rwanda, He deeply involved in the implementation of DHIS2 in Rwanda, Africa and facilitated different Regional DHIS2 academies.
