Papa alioune SOKHNA is currently a Sr Technical Officer at PATH Senegal, being part of the GHS project team in collaboration with CDC focused on improving epidemiological surveillance, laboratory support, AMR monitoring and responsible for the program information system. His role is to support the various departments and divisions of the Ministry of Health in the implementation of information systems. In addition, he manages the I-Lab project with Direction of Laboratories for the collection, processing and analysis of data on 11 mandatory declaration diseases. He also steer data management of bacterial resistance to antibiotics through DHIS2 platform. Furthermore, with a laboratory strengthening program, he work with Direction of Laboratories in the implementation of a tool in the DHIS2 platform to establish a detailed and accurate map of all laboratories in Senegal including their geolocation, general data & technical facilities
