A public health physician with Masters of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees and over 20 years’ experience in UN, Non-Governmental (NGO) and Research organizations in progressively senior technical and managerial positions. My strengths include health systems strengthening, information systems, HMIS, monitoring and evaluation of programmes, strategic planning, implementation of programmes, communication, capacity building. Experienced in maternal and child (including newborn) health, HIV programme, PMTCT, Immunisation, data analysis, reporting, SITAN, work planning, feedback, coordination and partnerships with government, UN agencies, donors, implementing partners (NGOs) and inter-sectoral collaboration; demonstrated capacity building and technical support of MoH, UNICEF and IP systems. Contributed to the Health Strategy, Country Programme Document, SITAN, donor reports and regular monitoring, data analysis and feedback to stakeholders.
I have been involved in writing proposals and published in peer reviewed journals as well as presented at international scientific conferences on various health, education, humanitarian and development issues.
