My goal is to guide positive changes in the lives of people improving healthcare system.
In 2012, I received an award from the Cross Culture Internships Program which was organized by the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations in Stuttgart, IFA, and Federal Foreign Office of Germany. This award gave me a rare opportunity to participate in an internship at the HIV Center at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Clinic in Frankfurt, where I was able to participate in research work, and also learn more about the healthcare management part of the clinic.
Coming back home, I worked in HIV Project in MSF (Doctors without Borders), a non-profit humanitarian medical organization. My responsibilities were to assist the project coordinator in the performance of management activities, to visit AIDS Centers together with the nurses and doctors, and to help them provide treatment and psychological support to HIV-positive patients, to meet with partners and take part in organizing team-building activities. It was a very interesting and unique learning experience about non-profit management.
In 2014, I went to the U.S. to take my Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management from California University of Management and Sciences. I enjoyed lectures on human resource development, management communication, and leadership.
My favorite topics in the healthcare sector are healthcare information technologies, cause-related marketing and non-profit management.
